Sure.the 7850 is solid. the i3-3220 is a particularly good dual-core 3.3 GHz processor, so yeah. Good combination.

I would recommend a AMD FX 6300 for $120 (link here[www.newegg.com]) over a i3 3220 for $130 (link here[www.newegg.com]) considering the AMD FX 6 core is better for gaming and $10 less. You have to pay for the integrated graphics and other business features like super strong single core performance and power efficiency in the i3 that a gamer simply does not need. AMD FX 6 core should keep up with PS4 and Xbox One, 2 core i3 probably will not.

What motherboard did you want for the i3? I can find you the best one for the same price to use for the AMD FX 6300 instead if you want.

Do you need the mini-ITX or micro-ATX size or can it be full size ATX?
That depends on your case if you don't know about sizes.

These motherboards are both full size ATX. They fit socket AM3+ CPUs like the AMD FX 6300. Both are very much nicer than the motherboard you were planning for with lots more space, options, features and upgradeability. As long as you did not need the small mini-ITX size these would be wonderful for you.

Pick whichever one you like, they are both good. They both have all the common features you will need and are each different in a few ways giving them unique advantages. If you are not sure which one you want you can pick based on color and look as is your personal visual style preference. It won't make that much difference at all.

Personally I have a ASUS motherboard for my AMD FX 8150 and a ASRock motherboard for a AMD APU. Both have so far been good enough for me and are relatively nice.

Okay, if you want a mini-ITX build you will have to stick with the i3-3220 CPU.

This case will work with the AMD FX 6300 CPU and socket AM3+ motherboards I recommended. If you get it make sure you also get a full-size ATX PSU. I can recommend that also if you need one.

Okay, well unless you are attached to the size you can switch in the CPU, motherboard and case that I recommended and you will save like $25 and get better performance and future upgrade options.

But if you are attached to the idea of the mini-ITX's small size and superior portability then go for it instead. AMD doesn't do micro or mini for desktops right now with their FX CPUs. They do full size ATX desktops at great value for gamers very well though.

If for some reason you wanted a AMD CPU you could go for a Athlon x4 740 or 750K and a mini-ITX motherboard. That would save you like $55 with the Athlon x4 740 and A75 motherboard or $35 if you went with the 750K and A85X motherboard to match.

Total $165 which is $55 less than your build cost.

Though you could get a Athlon x4 750K CPU and A85X FM2 motherboard for only $20 more I would suggest to stick with the Athlon x4 740 for mini-ITX because of the lower TDP and the fact that you probably do not want to overclock in such a small and relatively poorly vented case.

Personally if you are looking for good performance I recommend the move up to full size ATX as I first suggested. It is at no extra cost and in fact you probably save about $25.

I think I'll be fine, i mean what i really want is a computer that can play games with good FPS i don't care about graphics, i just want good preformce especially with games like Dayz so i'll be fine with the build i have in mind but thank you for the recommandations I'll keep these in mind in case i want to play other games on high settings in the future.

Try to stay with intel if you can, They're usually higher performing, and the 7850 should run metro last light on Medium to high, although to get the best fps run it on medium ,it looks fine

If you got a watercooler then you could make it with the Athlon x4 750K and overclock without worrying about lighting a fire in there. I noticed that even though it has only 2 fans the bitfenix prodigy does support a watercooler.

I don't know if that's in your budget though?

It'd probably be fine without at stock clocks if that was something you would add on later and wait to overclock until then.
