steam box or ps4?

I don't have alot of money for a gaming pc. Xbox one is out of the question but what should i get, ps4 or steambox? Nobody knows about steambox anything, is there a point in waiting? Maybe it will come out in 3 years! But if i actually do get a ps4 ill only have like 5 games! i have over 100 on my steam account and the prices are so good i can keep buying more! What do you guys think... are you going to upgrade your pc? i have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hp laptop (a lot of games out dated games work and even some new games like source games) are you guys even thinking of getting a console? I'd love to know!

Honestly it all boils down to user preference. You say that you have over 100+ games on Steam, which is a pretty big library. So if I were you, I wouldn't want to buy a ps4 that I would have to buy all the games already owned on Steam for it, just because that's a waste. PS4 games are more expensive also.

What I'm saying is that if I had a lot of ps4 games I would buy a ps4 over a steambox because of that, but if I had a lot of steam games I would hold up on the buying of a ps4 and see how the development of the steam box goes. The Steam box will probably be around the same price as the ps4 I'm assuming from what I've read, so really the price is out of the equation.

I use a PC to work and PS3 for play games, i will get a PS4 in a near future.
I just use steam for promotions.
