ASUS P8Z77-V Motherboard Memory Voltage
What voltage does the P8Z77-V Motherboard Require The Ram Voltage Is what i am asking about does this mobo require 1.5v or lower or higher also the cpu chip is a i5 3570k if it helps

if you run an 1155 cpu with 1.65v ram, it will cook its imc, and it will no longer be able to run 3-4 dimms

False. Upto 1.7v dram is fine for 24/7 use with the stock uncore voltage and wont damage the IMC.

corsair vengeance 8gb 2 x 4gb ddr3 1600mhz (pc3 12800) 240 pin ddr3 memory kit for core i3 i5 i7 and plantforms sdram also its voltage is 1.5v just to be safe right -_-

1.5v kits are best for 1155 and similar sockets.

And yeah the Vengeance will work perfectly, chances are you'll have to enable the XMP in BIOS to get 1600, otherwise its defaulted to 1333 on most boards.

have you tried upgrading any sandy/ivy systems from 2 to 4 dimms that used 1.65v ram kits?
