is my motherboard bad?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8QtmjFNOUM

look at the specs in the video, ive tried all drivers, settings on low (metro was on medium) pre rendered frames to 1 and 4, v sinc, limiters, nothing has worked. the fc2 video is what it plays on my pc, but it was someone else's rig and video. so is this normal or what?

i will replace anything i want this crap gone and back to gaming.

No, Motherboards will not cause Micro stutter, Either the Refresh rate of your monitor is below the FPS that the game is running (Enable V-Sync) Or the CPU is lagging behind and is causing a bottle neck.

Bad motherboards will only have MAJOR issues, like BSOD's, Random Shut downs, and so on.

i replaced the video card once already, which didnt sdo anything, i reformatted and tested with nothing but drivers and the game and it did it, this cpu is good and so is the ram, all new and should be fine. the mainboard is a 50 dollar asrock, with audio stuttering aswell so thats why i jumped to it first

i told you, ive tried v sinc and hasnt worked. this is not my rig but this is exactly how bf3 plays and thats why i sold the account to desperatly get away from the stuttering mess

If you have both Audio and Video stutter, it can only be that the CPU is too slow in comparasin to the GPU. What CPU and Graphics card do you have?

intel i5 3570k, and a gtx 660ti

its weird becuase i have an fps limit of 60, and medium settings, so that disprooves the gpu isnt fast enough, and neither is the cpu bottlenecking with a 60fps limit. so it must be the hdd, ram, or the motherboard. cant be the psu either becuase i tested it with hardware monitor and the 5volt and 12volt rails were on the spot. so i think it might be the motherboard becuase there are 2 chipsets, one is the z77 and i have the z75. i think i need the z77 to take full advantage of the i5. i have the dumb down version and thats why i suspected it was the motherboard. i have made 20 threads about this issue on stea,,tomshardware, evga forums, nvidia forums, overclock.net noone has figured out the issue.
Did you try limiting it to 59 FPS?

PS: FC2 has this problem for a lot of people.

yes in my opinon the fps limiter causes stutter. i can set it to 30 and even though at the same settings (ultra 4aa) it somehow manages to dip under it for a second and pauses the screen. thats the comparison vudeo of farcry 2. my friend had the same issue with fc2, but went to dx9 and it was fixed. so i did it too and it fixed some of it but its still there, it used to pause the screen for like 3 seconds at a time, seriously it did but now it just pauses a little bit. but it does ti so much its distracting as hell. so right now i just play fallout 3, it doesnt stutter a bit.

every game i own does the same kind of stutter, its a very minor pausing but happens every 5 seconds regardless of video settings and resolution. even cod 2, with over 300 fps, stutters at every 30 seconds.

it didnt do this when i first built my pc 5 mnths ago, but now its getting worse and now its unplayable
I know I tossed my copy of FC2 in the garbage bin after I bought it and realized the issue was never going to be fixed.

As for every single one of your games doing this. If you've got the FPS capped at 59 or 60 with V-Sync on and it's still doing this there is something else going on.

Here's what I'd do:

1. Turn off core parking if you are on Win 7
http://ultimatecomputers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3644&start=0

Once finished test your games (except FC2 because I doubt anything would fix that).

2. If you are on Win 8 do this:

Go to the cmd in admin mode
Type the following: bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes
Restart your PC
Test your games out
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are still having issues download LatencyMon
http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

You might be having a latency problem that can be caused by certain drivers or just the Windows timer.

1. I want you to run it for a while. First without using your computer at all. Leave it for about 10 minutes. Then take a pic of your screen.

2. Stop the program. Run it again and watch videos on youtube with it. Take a pic of your screen.

3. Post them both here and also tell me how often the bar is at the red zone. If they're spikes or it just stays there.

Okay and I don't know if you saw my edit so I'm just going to repost it here:

it says your system appears to be having rouble handling realtime audio and other tasks. you are likely to expeirence buffer underuns appearing as drop outs clicks or pops (which is exactly what i have) one problem may be power management, disable cpu throttleing (which is what i did speedstep, and thermal throttling are gone). check for bios updates (which i have latest of)

ok this is odd, even fallout 3 started to stutter. i think i do need a new mobo and reformat
Did you unpark your CPU cores?

And how is the latency. Is it spiking then going back down? Or is it constantly high.
