Edit: scratch out the cryo-cooler idea for now. I can't find anything at a reasonable price. I could buy a refrigerator and have someone build a custom liquid gas loop for less than I've seen CPU cryo advertised for.
Anyways to me it isn't worth the $20+ to replace what I've already got working. When it wears out from old age then I will have to get a new one.
they can keep a 140w cpu cool
or allow a good overclock on a 80-125w cpu
or a massiv overclock on 60w cpus
should i upgrade to the evo it is the upgraded version of my 212 plus? is it alot better at cooling?
what about the noctua nh-d14?

I use this cooler but the one you picked is very good.

lol
idk man im really interested in the noctua nh-d14 cpu cooler the fan cooler might be ugly its ok but if the colors were different i would love it even more
yes the Noctua model you linked is the best,
Personally I'd go for a "updraft" cooler because that's what all the stock coolers are.
Meaning it should blow the air upwards from the CPU if the motherboard is lying flat. Definetly don't go for a "downdraft" one if anyone is even stupid enough to make one that blows the air back down onto the motherboard. The one going to the side is probably pretty good as well but it doesn't help take hot air away from the motherboard like a updraft cooler would. If you have a case fan that will cool your motherboard that is probably fine.
