I7 970
Got a I7 970 which is stock 3.2ghz, and i've just clocked it up to 3.6 ghz and i was wondering if anyone knew what the QPI/dram core voltage should be in relation to Dram bus voltage.
I'm totaly green when it comes to overclocking.

Currently :

Qpi/dram core have changed it to 1,25 showing up as 1,210V now which should be within the .5 range
Dram Bus 1,654 V
CPU 1.210V
CPU PLL 1,812V
QPI Link 3612mhz
Dram Frequency 752 mhz
FSB:Dram 2:10
Multiplier x24
NB frequency 3010mhz

is that normal or ?

QPI should always be within .5v of the dram voltage or you can damage the IMC. Stock qpi is 1.2v which should be good for 1.7v dram but it seems youve got some droop there. Id bump the QPI to 1.3 and you should be fine. Posting this from an i7 920 @ 4.6ghz thats been running 1.4v qpi and 1.75 dram for the last 3 years with no issue or signs of degrading.
