max temp on the fx cpus is around 70c

staying in the 30'sc is pretty good, what cooler do you have?
and board?
asus sabertooth 990fx R2.0 and a ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm
Those seem to be pretty decent temps for Idle, But Load temps are all that matter..
Anything below 80c is Good for a CPU 100% Usage temp.

AMD temps are diffident though .. Most of their CPU's will shut down at 60-72C. Intel runs much much hotter than AMD. I wouldn't want my AMD CPU to reach 60c, if it did then something is clearly wrong.

No offence, But that's really weak.... My 3570k can run for days straight in the 97-101c Range. (Not reccomending it, but it wont kill anything.)
Ok Well i just ran prime 95 so im guessing ive havent used nothing that has used all 8 cores yet. Once i ran prime 95 my temp shot up to like 50c hmmm.. to me with that many case fans and that big a cooler thats way to high. I guess i need to check my fans i think ive got them set up wrong? Well i am still breaking in my thermal paste(artic silver5). Ive got 5 120mm fans and a 230mm fan on my side panel as intake. I got 2 230mm and a 120mm on my front panel as intake a 140mm on the bottom as intake a 120mm on the back side panel behind cpu as intake and ive got 2 230mm on top as exhaust and a 140mm in the back as exhuast and ive got cpu cooler blowing straight to it. Does that sound right im still trying to learn the whole exhaust intake airflow thing lol

50c is still fine
max is 72c or amd pii/fx cpus

intels can run hotter, 100c max

and zalman coolers are more show than preformance
You wouldn't need too many fan. Like i have 12 fan and i use only 4 or 5 for gaming. I would use 12 fan if I overclocked. I used to overclock i3 540. The max temp for Intel CPU is around 100C, some say 120C. (please don't try at home)

That would be either Thermaltake or Coolmaster (sometime their fan aren't good and is high noise) Also XIGMATEK are good too. I have those on my Thermaltake Contac 30, it work pretty good.
Ive got a xigmatek fan in the bottom didnt even pay attention to them selling hsf ill look into thermaltake c what i can find out

More detail?
My 140mm fan in the bottom of the case is a xigmatek fan i didnt even know they even sold cpu coolers ive only ever seen there case fans i guess i didnt rly pay attention to much im gonna look at sme thermaltake cpu coolers but everyone says my temps are fine prolly not gonna worry about changing the zalman save money and the trouble to me imo

Better. They do make case fan and heatsink. It is good heatsink and I like them. I only tryout XIGMATEK when they have PWM in high CFM. It work out well.
50c using prime isnt anything to worry about so obviously his cooler is doing what it should be doing.

His cooler is doing a good job so stop trying to say otherwise guys, theres nothing wrong with his setup.

If you make him get a new cooler because the one he has is supposedly for "Show" then he runs the risk of screwing up the balance that he has.

Your temps are fine OP dont let them tell you any different.
Yea ive pretty much decided to leave it be dont wont to put no more money into it i just never messed with a fx cpu so I didnt rly know what the temps should be
