That thing is probably as futureproof as they come. I said money was no object but I have to draw the line on this one, nearly £4,000! It looks like a powerhouse though and I was really considering buying that until I came to my senses!
just under 3yrs, if it still works fine, oc it to around 3.3-3.6 (10-20%)
should be doable with a 212evo (do not oc with the stock cooler)
tcase is 72c (max recomended, but they can go to 90+ and will auto shutdown at around 98)
so keep it under 85
there are several good guides to oc the 875k
then get a better gpu

Thanks man I will look into an overclock on it, Still wanting to build a new pc but I intend to keep this one also for less demmanding games. I feel quite greedy saying that hehe
Old i7 have quad core and 8 threads.
Just ordered a new package, it's made by a local Swedish company called inet.se I think I already posted a link to one of their products, here are the specs.
Intel Core i7, 3770K 3.5 GHz, 8MB Cache
Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan 6GB
16 GB DDR3 1600Mhz, Corsair VENGEANCE LP RED
250 GB, SSD Samsung
3000 GB hard drive, 7200rpm, 64MB Cache
MSI Z77A-S01 motherboard
Corsair Cooling Hydro H70 CPU-cooler
Custom Cooler Master HAF tower
Windows 8 64bit
It was advertised with a 650 watt psu, I've been able to change that to an Antec 900watt psu. Gonna be paying a monthly contract for this which is going to cost me just over 20,000 SEK, roughly £2,000.
Of course that other motherboard supports SLI. It just doesn't come with the SLI bridge.
I found out that it can running, It is missing information on motherboard specs. Source are in Swedish language, so not going post that link. Still, not recommend motherboard with 16X 4X as if there are other 16X 8X at same price.
Here is interest part. http://www.overclock.net/t/819348/16x-16x-vs-16x-4x-gtx-470-sli-comparison
The only thing that needs to be upgraded is that GPU. A 7870 or a 79xx Would be a perfect fit for your PC. I would not reccomend Nvidia as OpenCL and OpenGL is used heavily in modern games. AMD has much overtaken the performance end of the gaming market, and very good value for the price. Cuda is a outdated, and lhas less utilization that is underused.
Not true about cuda, OpenCL and Open GL.
EDIT: I found no source about CUDA being outdate. As well as OpenCL and OpenGL.
