Another Windows 8 Post

I have a pc with windows 8 build 9200. My problem is usually, games (i.e. Gotham City Impostors, APB Reloaded...) will run just fine, no lag or anything. But after a while, the game randomly crashes. I have tried google, but all i get is posts about how someone installed beta version, in which this is not the case. Also, its not my pc specs either, Any thoughts?

On a side note, why hate on Windows 8? After a few days of using it, i kind of like it now that i've gotten used to a few things.

Also, i thought about downgrading until i checked on the manufacturers site, and found out that they dont have drivers for windows 7 for my specific pc so that got shot out of the water. and Steam itself has done the same thing as all the games do, which is a random crash and then constant crashing.

Depending on the Drivers you would actually need you may not have to rely on your PCs maker.

ill have to look into it a little more, but in the meantime, whats with windows 8? only real problem i have is my games crash randomly. but, what i had bought was a gateway dx series
DX4380G-UW308 model. it has an AMD A series at 3.60 GHz, 6 gb of ram, 1TB hdd, so why can i not just play my steam games without going through all the trouble with drivers and downgrading, only thing i dont meet on the requirements is that instead of windows 7, i have windows 8.
