And james what do you mean, I can just plug those little power pins into the soundcard? I don't see the point since the soundcard should have all the inputs that I need
How many pin are you talk about?
It is always good idea to plug a audio connections into sound card even if don't use it or use it.
Plugging into the front fixed it, but then I was like meh might as well get some quality headphones and a soundcard w/ amp
Anyway thanks for clarifying I doubt I'll need the FAP since headphones will work properly on the soundcard (hopefully haha)
Huh? Why would you say that?
If you're talk about onboard on rear panel that don't work. It might be your driver issue or motherboard have damages. Rear panel should be use by 2.1 speaker and front panel should by used by headphone. It is easily that way.
I second that. Beside speaker mode should not used via headphone. It won't give right tone.
