Steam (and gaming) on the Surface Pro, Razer Edge... etc.
Am I the only one who is really keen to see how Steam and games in general will work on all these upcoming Windows 8 (not RT) tablets. I can't wait :D

Me too. Which of the two would people recommend for a traveling gamer?
Razer Edge would be the best for games and such by a fair bit but something like the Surface Pro is a lot sleeker and has a nicer design imho. Plus I think it's i5 and HD4000 should just about run any game (maybe not on ultra super high @ 60fps) well enough to keep you entertained when you're away from your rig at home.
HD4000 wii run game new games at med to low settings - not enough power to do any where near max read the reviews on Google for conformation
Not expecting the HD4000 to do any high-end gaming but I'm sure you'll forgive the lower settings and perfomance when you're on a train or plane :)

Thanks for the replies. It's a tough call! I'll try to find a Surface Pro in a store so I can try it out. I'm not sure it will be possible to try an Edge before buying, though.
Razer Edge looks cool for gaming. Surface Pro an expensive frisbee.

Lol, ok, thanks. I do lean toward the Edge. So to speak.
