Yes, but I'm also saying you essentially waste money if you can get something massively better for the same cash, especially considering that you could also upgrade it cheaply in the future. But if all you want to do is play WoW and other low req games in a not too high resolution, the GT 610 will do (not as well as the GTX 260M, but the other components probably make up for it). WoW is a fairly CPU-dependent game.

It's still wasteful seeing how you could have a 650ti and better other parts. :)
and last question...back to the starting question....is iBuypower reliable?

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink...

Im sure there ok they have been around a while from what i can remember.
For the record, ibuypower and cyberpower are essentially like sister sites.

But yes they are reliable. i got a system few years ago from CyberPower and had absolutely no problems with it, the sales rep was EXTREMELY helpful. had gotten a system from ibuypower few years ago as well for my mom and its still goin, upgraded the GPU and went to Win7 since then along with a new HD.

If you know how to put together a PC youd be better off, but if you dont have the time then those sites are a good alternative.
Even if you don't know how to buid a pc.. just go to youtube how to build a pc. or how to put in cpu which is the only part that you would have troubles with... after you screw in a motherboard its like legos plug plug plug plug plug. OS install, done.
I purchased an ibuypower system and I have never had any issues with it, other than it being a bit under powered. I have however upgraded it since and still no issues, I'm still using the original mobo and psu. I too have even gotten a system for my mom from them and again no issues with that system other than a noisy cpu fan. From personal experience I would say they are very reliable.
You can get almost twice the performance if u build it yourself. If u game much yoll be dissapointed w the ibuy power. You really cant compare desktop and laptop gpus.

the 260m runs all my games great...like i said before...im not a hardcore gamer....i think the most demanding game i play is wow, and the 260m can run on untra...things like CoD, BF3, or ACIII, i play on either my PS3, or Xbox, i really only play RTS games on the comp...
missing out...
console kid..:(
so sad...
That makes no sense.

And not everyone has the time or know how to build their own comp, thats where those sites come in.

iBuyPower .. With an i .. Apple .. You buy power? Seems like an utter failure to buy from them. Build your own and save a massive amounts of money, all of which can be used to improve other hardware such as the GPU .. Gaming? iPowerDoNotBuy.

But the difference in performance is so huge, I understand that people are intimidated by building a PC, but if you get the parts and pay someone to do it, it's still a much better deal. Time is usually not an issue. People who don't have time to build a computer either won't have time to play video games or they make enough that they can buy an Alienware or a custom-built box.

But anyway, it's his money and he can of course do whatever he wants. I just don't think it's a good deal.
Go to Newegg and put together a computer OR look at one of their DIY kits, if you want a prebuilt don't buy from Alienware they are insanly overpriced for what you get. Shop around at Tigerdirect/Newegg for prebuilt computers and if you are lucky enough to live near a Microcenter you are blessed and should probably go there.

Yeah but it's real easy to learn you would have to be plain stupid if you cant figure it out, and if someone cant spare a couple hours of there life man they must be busy, it's fear that stop most building there own.
Mivo is 100% correct to build is better than premade i bought mine ,a huge tower custom made for the same price you get a Alien for but the tower has alot more in it for gaming and more pwer than the AW too
