Its no surrprise though.
One in ten thousand people on here are actually going to give an unbias, factual and helpful reply. Most are just so conceited about the hardware they own, that they only recommend what they use to validate their purchase or machine. Better off asking on a proper hardware forum if you want the best advice.
I've only been giving a post here and there around these discussions/forums for a small while, and I already can't be bothered anymore, because all the effort you put into helping the user that is asking for help goes down the drain when someone else derails the thread with their false knowledge and facts..
As you said, you can't just stick to one brand and form loyalty with them as you're just missing out on the advantages that either brand might have with each new wave of hardware.
