Brand New Computer Under 1000$

Hi i'v been trying to get the pefect build for gaming so far i'v taken on the AMD a10 5800K and the Corsair Vengeance 8gb ram 1600 and i want the OCZ vertex 4 256gb SSD if i can with a gtx 660ti. But other then that i'v got no leads on what i should get. Some help would be nice.

dont get a new a10 build with a gpu

those are made to be cheap/htpc gaming machines
the apu is good enough for most games on low-mid settings

with a 1k usd build

get a i5 3570k cpu and z77 board

build is also missing ram, get a 2x4g 1600 or higher cl9 or lower 1.5v or lower kit

I have my ram all rdy that's why sry forgot to say that and my friend has an a10 and his computer fly's

the intel core i5 is a little expensive and plus i'm an amd fan boy so i'd with amd

if you really want to do an amd build, go to a microcenter

If you want to use the AMD CPU, then get a Radeon HD 7950 instead of the GTX 660ti.

Well its the same with CPUs, and Intel is flat out better.

nVidia and AMD are kinda 50/50 when it comes to GPUs, but as far as CPUs go Intel is prefered by many. Those examples i gave you before are pretty good systems for the money.

well i have discounts on a lot of other sites and i know intels better but idk witch one to get intel core i7 3570k or the i5 3570k and should i be putting my machine on windows format or lynix

i5 is good for gaming, i7 if u do photo/video editing n such

if you do lots of vm's or lots of video editing and use programs that make use of the ht, get the i7, gaming or occational video editing, get the i5

An i5-3570K is great for gaming. An i7-3770K is recommended for extensive use of Photoshop, using Vegas Pro to create HD videos, AutoCAD, etc. A six-core i7-3930K is only needed for studio-quality 4K videos rendered in stereoscopic 3D and with PCM uncompressed 7.1 audio.
