But if you're plan to getting 5.1 computer speaker. Go for this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102048
I still use my old HD555 from 2006 lol. I also have Logitech z506 5.1 speakers.
Yes, they support 5.1, 7.1. For Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD, 5.1 can only be done by fiber optic.
Go for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102048 since you have 5.1 computer speaker.
eh... it may do ok with the logitech, but if you have a recent motherboard the onboard sound should be good enough.
Creative has been known to have sucky drivers tho, as that 1 dude said.

After looking over the 506, a dedicated soundcard may be a good match, but in all honesty if you have a decently recent motherboard the onboard sound should do well enough without having to shell out $100+.

Its the old popular one one ppl used for OC'ing the i7 920. Should I just save up? Or should I treat myself to new a sound card lol. I feel like, if I hate it, I will just resell it on ebay. I never tried dedicated sound card.
