Need help for first gaming build!
this is what I came up with in a week for my first gaming build and would appreciate any feedback.
I would like to run games like assassins creed 3 and skyrim at high-ultra.
Would this work for those games:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 170$ at micro store
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H ATX 110$
Patriot 8gb ram 31$
Western Digital Caviar 1TB Hard Drive 90$
EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1gb 140$
Rosewill U3 ATX Mid Case 45$
CoolMax 700W 50$
Total 636$
Is this a good build for the price or are there better parts. I would prefer the same ammount, but would be willing to pay a little more if it makes a difference. Approximatly how long would this system last for?

dont get the coolmax power supply

for a cheap quality one, get this
OCZ Technology StealthXStream 600W ATX Power Supply - Recertified $40
http://www.microcenter.com/product/315750/StealthXStream__600W_ATX_Power_Supply_-_Recertified

or
Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC "Compatible with Core i7,i5" Power Supply $50

$90 is pretty high for a 1tb drive

Seagate ST310005N1A1AS-RK 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive $80
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148321

or for $110 you can get a 2tb seagate

Thankyou for responding. Is 600W enough if I don't plan on overclocking?

600w will be more than enough, might be able to run 2 in sli with a 600w psu

looks like a decent build, but i would reccomend going for a 660 (or 660ti) instead of a 650 if you are willing to spend a little more. it will last you longer.

For gaming the CPU could be changed for a 2500 (K version not needed)
and as mentioned the 660ti if you can afforsd it

Most games are very very cpu intensive so the fastest CPU is not needed, you could save money on the CPU and invest in a better GPU

Of course if its just epeen you need then buy the 3570 and 660ti ;)
