Steam controller 2026 - how do you actually remap the buttons?

This your first time using a controller on PC?
Simply bring up BigPictureMode > Launch game > bring up overlay > configure controller as you see fit.

i use an xbox controller it has its own app. not sure why you needed to bring attitude.

But you don't even have to use whatever app that is; Xbox and PS controllers can be remapped on a per-game basis in the very same way.
