Leap Motion
I found about it yesterday. It will be a small machine that will be released on July 22 and will cost 80 euros. It will allow us to play games without the need to use controller or keyboard and mouse. Only movinf our hands! It will also allow us to use programs or do any other work on pc without the need of keyboard and mouse. More information here
https://www.leapmotion.com/

There are some youtube videos on the site that show the developers playing games and doing work on PC by using only their hands. It lloks realy amazing!!!
If they do right then PC versions of games will get a huge advantage over consoles .

Sounds nice, like having Kinect on PC. It will add interaction to games, but sometimes your arms can get tired after a few hours of motions and then you want to go back to controller or keyboard / mouse.

Yes. It will not replace kayboard mouse and controlelr but it will add a new experience to games, And this is something that as i said it will give an advantage to pc versions against console versions

I preordered a long time ago. I've been wanting something like that for years and years.

I use my computer mouse so much that they always break, I rub right through plastic and rubber, every mouse is a piece of garbage compared to the Leap3D.

Also I can use both hands and all my wonderful fingers instead of just 2.

A must-have for any hardcore PC user who doesn't want to have their hands evolve into the best shape to fit todays keyboards and mice XD

Only 3 days left until the release of leap motion the device that will change the way that we use our pc forever! It will enable us to control our pc by just touching the monitor without the need to use keyboard and mouse. It will work on evry pc that has windows 7 or 8 no matter how powerful it is. If you have any question ask on the developers site here https://www.facebook.com/LeapMotion?fref=ts

This is the future !! A future that many pc enthousiasts had predicted decades ago is finaly becoming true IN JUST 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!! If anyone here is going to buy it please post your impresions here ! I will buy it later after i read some reviews of it.

I am interested to see what games might have Leap support in the near future. There is no reason that existing Steam games couldn't add it.

There is at least one game on green light already that is compatible with leap. Developers are not going to be locked into using Airspace alone. Also I am in Melbourne and preorderd over a year ago. Have been trying to reach there tech support (Emails, facebook). Have not heard a thing from them in weeks. Any tips to get leap to respond. Bomb threats, Smear campagin, posting them a dead animal. JK:B1:. But would be nice to know WTF is going on. Really slack so far leapmotion:chainsaw:

To anyone that has a leap on the way. Airspace has really bad download rate and would hate for you to have to wait a few more hours when the thing arrives. Make an account now, skip the leap setup and start downloading the apps you want ahead of time. https://www.leapmotion.com/setup

I agree that the download speeds can be utterly dismal, so queuing dowloads ahead of time is a good idea. And to Sinister3vil, I've had a much easier time with my Leap on OS X than I have on Windows 8, frankly. But if you haven't done it already, I'd suggest going into Settings > Troubleshooting > Recalibrate Device for a start. Also, many of the apps in Airspace just aren't programmed well; I suspect the designers of Leap delayed it precisely because there were so few solid apps.

But for those of you who have Leap on a Mac, I highly recommend finding BetterTouchTool and getting some gestures going; the developer of that driver suite has done a lot of great work again with his early Leap support, and I can't imagine the Leap without it, even after only using it for a day.

As far as free Airspace software goes, the pickings are slim. Lotus is pretty good, if you like tech demoes wherein you've seen everything within 8 minutes.

Leap Motion will be great for sports and racing games, but it will be quite interesting to see how it can be used with games like Tomb Raider and Mortal Kombat, though. :/

I have to be honest I am Dev for leapmotion from the start - it is over rated.
