Aftermarket CPU air cooler, Will it fit my motherboard?
Hello, I want to buy a new CPU air cooler for my i7 2600K but I have an issue about space.

I want to buy Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 but I don't want to lose my first RAM slot. Will it fit my motherboard? My RAMs are tall.(Corsair Vengeance)

Mainboard: Z68MA-G43

Case: HAF X 942

Air Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212

I want to overclock my CPU to 4.2 - 4.4 GHZ, Is Hyper Evo 212 enough for that? Other "Air cooling" system advices welcome.

212 evo might be able to do it but will be on the hotter side

dh14 or h80-100 would be better choices

I have two problems;
-I can't find any Noctua coolers at local shops in Turkey.
-I don't want to sacrifice my first RAM slot. :)

I'm considering to get H100i but it costs 230$ in here. Any suggestions?

You wont have to sacrifice your RAM slot, just put the fan on the other side or place the cooler so its on the other side towards the back, you dont need to use 2 fans.

with my ASUS board my vengeance RAM is in the 2nd and 4th slot, which according to the manual thats where they are supposed to be..

If your sticks are in slots 1 and 3 see if its possible to place them in 2 and 4.

For me theres no space issues for the fan and the 1st RAM stick, though removing the fan does mean i have to take the stick out first to make it easier but thats really not a problem.

Correction.. that is one HELLA tiny motherboard! im not even sure a 212 EVO is an option..
You may be better off going with a 120mm or 140mm Liquid Cooling.

the board isnt tiny, just a m-atx
212 will fit fine, even with the fan as push from the front, it should clear the ram
worst case mount it higher on the heatsink, or as pull from the back

if you want to oc above 4.2 you will most likely need a better cooler
212evo is an excellent budget cooler, but cannot keep up with the bigger ones
h60 isnt much better, but pushes hot air directly out of the case
h80 would be worth the upgrade

what other cooling solutions does the store offer?

Yeah, Micro ATX Means small form factor, which means its SMALL, another word for Tiny.

when i see 'tiny' i think of the itx builds
like these tiny boards
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z77IA-E53.html
thats 17cm x 17cm, the OPs board is 24.4cm(L) x 24.3cm(W)

not much difference, so to me they are both tiny.

Unless theres someone on here that has used an EVO on an MATX board i dont think itd be a perfect match.
