How full does a Hard Drive have to be before a loss in performance?

I have 426gb (out of 465gb) of free space and plan on downloading a few full games. How much space can I occupy before my computer gets slower?

You should keep 20 GB free space. I recommend 50 GB free space.

It won't get slower if it's working right. Don't worry about your HD space but yeah... Don't go below 20gb or something.

I always maintain about 70 GB or more free on my SSD and it never slows down. But I don't know if it really matters when using an SSD, though.

I try to keep mine as free as possible, if i stop playing a game or get bored with it i uninstall it to save space and any games i reinstall i try to keep limited to a few GB.

After you install your games do a Defrag, that should help with any speed related issues.
Doing a Disk Cleanup and clearing System Restore points now n then can also help with space and speed issues.
