Possible to change a Intel HD Graphics card Core i7?
Hello, I've been wondering if it is possible to switch out the Intel (HD) Core(TM) i7
from Windows 8 Notebook Series 3 (built-in intel) with any other Graphics Card

The Intel HD video is integrated in the CPU chip. Only a few high end laptops have the ability to add/change discrete video cards. Computers with just Intel HD graphics are made for general purpose and not for gaming or high end video applications.

If u have an i7 you likely have HD4000, why would you want to switch that out, its integrated into the system and happens to be the top of the line in intel graphics. (I hear HD5000 will be 50% more powerful) The most logical thing to do is learn how to use HD4000 to its full potential, it can be tweaked for gaming if you know what you're doing, for instance u can start by upgrading to the latest graphic drivers.

Yes, but sometimes whenever I try to play BattleFeild 3 or GTA4 With it, the FPS is like 15 or lower even with the settings low and off.

GTA 4 is a case of bad porting, so your best bet is turning down settings as much as you can. Most of all, GTA 4 is a CPU glutton, so that's what it really needs above all, but on a notebook it's irrelevant since it can't be changed (it's possible, but challenging. i wouldn't risk it). IMHO, If you want to play a game it's always better to have an ugly 60fps than a pretty 15, so if i were you i'd turn the setting down, turn down the resolution, or both.

gta4 should be almost playable on a intel 4000, with custom tweaks its playable with the 3000

the 2g i7s have the 3000
the 3g i7s have teh 4000

try gta4 with this in the command line setting

-renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -safemode -availablevidmem 7 -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

Forgot to say this, Whenever I try to play GTA 4, I keep on having to verify the game cache, and
when I try to start the game, you know when you start to play the characters of the game
loop... well it's on a continuos loop... then my desktop crashes and no error.
And yes, I have Intel HD Core i7 4000

(On BF3 IF you have 15 fps or lower, your gameplay slows down a ♥♥♥♥ ton) I've never actually
got to play gta 4 because the character looping screen keeps on looping forever

Check your power options and see if there's a high performance option. That can improve gaming, but it uses more power and drains your battery if you're not plugged in. I haven't used Windows 8 on a laptop so I can't say how to do it there, but it should be in the control panel.

You normally can't upgrade the graphics on a laptop. Intel HD isn't bad though, just don't expect the best framerates on more demanding games. It's not really meant for serious gaming, but it will run most games.

You can only change HD intel by new CPU. Most normal laptop are upgradable with hard drive, msata, cpu, LCD and RAM

I would suggest doing a disk clean up at best as those processors should be capable of playing those with ease, other than that disable visual themes on windows as it just basically eats all your memory buffer.

Disk cleanup wouldn't help to make computer fastest but it help to save up hard drive space.

does reduce the workload for the hard drive, and makes operations faster.
every part in a computer works together and the hard drive is a component which can drag the rest down even if the computer is high spec it would probably run at speeds that you would expect from an older cpu.

Trying to run modern highend games with the HD video is only going to get you disappointed. To really enjoy the games you need a good gaming GPU. I'm sorry. Try what you want but you're not going to see 60+ fps with the good games at high settings using high resolution. You need a MINIMUM of 30+ fps for the game to flow well and really need least 60fps to really be smooth and 1360x768 at least to look good. 1080p is best. More power you got the more eye candy you get. PC gaming is not cheap.

That is minimum of 24 fps as if it is like DVD movie. Also 60 fps is not really need to be smooth and look good.
