The Mamba had issues with its wireless functionality two months after use and the Naga started to malfunction about 6 months after my purchase.
The other three continue to work flawlessly.
They're no different than any other company and the Deathadder is a great mouse. I loved my Deathadder Black Edition the only issue was its size and weight. I use a G400 now because it's perfect for my hand.
The Deathadders, Logitech G400, Roccat Savu, and Zowie EC1 are considered to be some of the best mice you can buy. No prediction, no acceleration, and little to no jitter.
They all work especially well with a Puretrak Talent or QCK's.

I recommend another mouse if you don't mind. Cyborg RAT 7.
That's funny. Sorry I can't resist that but do you know what "brakes" mean? The correct is broke.
Was the Razer Deathadder too big for you? Because I too use a G400 atm but I want somethng bigger. My hands are really big. Around 7.5 inches from bottom of palm to the top of my middle finger. The Roccat Kone XTD, while more pricy looks to be the biggest gaming mouse out of all of these so far. Plus I just love the customizable lights. But I always wanted something Razer, but when I keep seeing that razer mice break within a few months of use(a lot of time even good use) then it makes me not want to get it. I just dont wana spend 66 euros just to have it break after a few months. I take good care of my equipment. The Roccat Kone XTD looks to be very durable though. GOD I CANT DECIDE :P. And the worst thing? My birthday is in 4 days!
I wouldn't worry about it. I've had Logitech mice crap out on me so it happens to every brand.
I bought my Lachesis the day it came out (original version) and now my friend uses it. So it's been in use for about 4 years and works flawlessly. Both of my Deathadder's work as well.
The 3.5G black edition and the 2013 are excellent mice. I'd recommend it to anyone that's looking for something that size.
I can vouch for Roccat as well since the Savu is an excellent mouse. Honestly, just compare them both and see which suits you more. I know the old Kones had acceleration issues but they've fixed that long ago I believe.
And Happy early Birthday!! =)
Thanks! Ye Kone XTD doesn't have acceleration anymore I don't think. Thanks for convincing me to get DA. The awesome thing is if i get deathadder and bf3 for pc(non premium) it will still be less than a 100 bucks. Whereas the Kone alone is 90. But damn both mice are so awesome. I'm so bad at choosing. How should I choose? I need a deciding factor. Something that will make me say: I am getting this mouse! without thinking anymore about other ones :P. The days are closing in and my bday is closer and closer and I still havent chosen between the 2 :(. Perhaps u can help me if I tell u something about myself?
I have large hands
I use a palm grip
I play on high DPI(well my g400 i play it on max dpi-3600 i hate playing on low dpi hate having to move the mosue across the whole pad)
I play FPS games only.
If you wana know more just ask. ;).
Just got the Deathadder 2013! What an amazing mouse! Easily the best mouse ever! Thank you for encouraging me to get it! I can't thank you enough! Just downloading Synapse now! Wooohoo. Love it!
I wish they made a smaller version of it because the tracking on a Deathadder is perfect and the mouse wheel is so much better than the G400 (which is the G400's only fault imo).
Anyway, happy gaming bud.
This doesn't make sense to me. I've no significant experience buying mice by any stretch of the imagination but I've used plastic mice all my life. I have a 4 year old Wired Logitech Optical Mouse. It's so generic it doesn't even have a proper name.
Yet the thing still works flawlessly. In fact, I spilled water in it once and it rendered the scroll wheel useless for about a week while it dried out.
Once it did, the thing worked just as well as when I bought it.
I simply do not understand how the build material could have any significant impact on longevity; especially not at these price points and especially not as severe as is being reported.
I'd much sooner assume it's the build QUALITY that renders them useless. Plastic or no plastic should make no significant difference unless you're particularly rough with it. I know if I smacked it with a hammer I'd break my Logitech Optical Mouse a lot faster than if it were made of metal but I don't see any compelling reason to do that.
But if the company building it doesn't know squat about working with plastic, then yeah, that lack of build quality is going to cause malfunctions.
I had plastic mouse which is almost 5 years old. That would be Gigaware, I think. The only reason why it still work well and no crack plastic is because I take care well and I always put mouse in side of backpack or place where it won't being impacted by my college book. For now, I prefer rubber mouse.
You only have that mouse for so long is because you care well with your mouse.
