Turbo drive engine (tde) HELP
I was looking through the software manual of my msi gx70 laptop, when I came across something called turbo drive engine. The manual said it would automaticly overclock my stuff and let me play all my games faster, so I thought I would activate it. The only problem is, I don't know how to do that. It said I just had to press the hotkey to activate it (I don't have a hotkey for it) then on the next page they gave me instructions on how to get it. This is where I'm stuck because I don't know how to do this part. It says "Once the Turbo Drive Engine (TDE) function has been turned on in CPU Overclocking and the MSI Overclock Tool has been installed, users can activate the VGA overclock function." It then gives me these instructions
1. Right-click on the TURBO icon in the system tray.
2. Click “Enable” to activate the VGA overclocking feature.
If anyone could give me detailed instructions how how to activate this I would be incredibly grateful! I you need any information just ask.

Do you have the TDE drive installed? My guess is its on the cd/dvd that came with your laptop? If not, go to start>all programs and see if its listed there. Also reread that manual. Its possible you may have oeverlooked it mentioning what the hot key might be. Please don't be offended by that. I'm not implying anything. Anyway, the reason I suggest its on a cd/dvd is because you mention "right click on the TURBO icon, which suggests that the driver would have to be or actually has been installed. Which begs the question; are you certain there isn't an icon either in the system tray or on the desktop? Having said all this, laptops are notorious for generating heat under normal circumstances. Are you sure you want to OC? Frankly I'd advise against it.
I updated my stuff with the cd that came with it and nothing happened. I think you have to activate it in the settings or something, and it isn't already installed on my desktop. It's not a big deal though, it just would have been nice to have
Make sure you are adding airflow before you enable any overclocking on a laptop. Also make sure you have removed as much dust from any vents.

Then when you tried it and find it doesn't do much for your games - switch it off again and hope you didn't shorten the life of any critical componants.
