If it happens all the time and only when you are not using your PC for some time, then it is probably crashing on sleep/hibernate mode or crashing when the disk is powering down.

Either way, the easiest method to test it is to disable power saving options and then let it run.

Are you getting shocked a lot by metal objects in that winter air? Like doorknobs and stuff?

I had a monitor once that would do that when I would come back to my desk and get a shock when I touched the desk. Only in the dry winter air, rest of the seasons were fine.
This just happens one day and does it a few times but then the next day it just stops really wierd it’s good for now though
can you give me a follow up if it happens again, iam on the quest learning this kind of problem occured

It just happened a few hours ago when I got up to go for my dinner and I forgot something so I went to go back for it and it had restarted

disable windows auto reboot on bsod

if its rebooting at cpu/gpu load without bsod, then its most likely the psu

check windows error logs to see what it says before the reboot
It’s when I leave it idle

PSU
Actually i had a problem with a machine and replaced the GPU only to find out it was the power board.

In my computer course it said to always try the easiest things first, dunno why.

I was thinking that but still doesn’t explain why it happens only when I get up from my chair or move around

rebooting not at load would not be the psu
newer cpus/gpus will not force shutdown when overheating, they will throttle
but incorrect drivers can crash windows or games when throttling

may be brownout, or something in windows forcing shutdown

was there anything in windows error logs?

What am I looking for in the error logs?

anything before the unexptected shutdown

In system it says error and it says the source is OneCore-DeviceAssociation
