My trusty ErgoDex DX1 has finally given up. What gaming keyboard now? This thing curered my RSA
For decades I used a Canadian EurgoDex DX1 ( https://www.ergocanada.com/products/other/ergodex_dx1_input_system.html )

I was shocked that this didnt catch on and become hugly popular. You could stick buttons where you wanted on the track-pad and assign how you want. It was hugely flexible. Better still I could spread out my huge hand as opposed scrunch everything up to WASD or similar lay outs.

So, they havent made the DX1 for over a decade. Is there anything remotely similar?

Honestly, I wish I had bought 4 of these at the time now. I'm hoping its not back to RSA wrist again for me. Would be a huge step backwards.

Any help appreciated.

You might like leverless fighting game controllers like the Hitbox or the Razer Kitsune 'cause of how the buttons are spread. The button positions are fixed though and they're not really keyboards.

Hiya mate. Thanks. Na, they not how I would set them up. Im shocked the DX1 flopped. And that no one else took it further. It was a game changer for shooters for people with Carpal Tunnel

(sorry for resurrecting an old post)

Feel for bad you :( I'm nervous of the day mine finally gives up too

I'm still using my Ergodex every day for every game it's indispensable and I agree it's unbelievable it never took off but given the rumours of issues between the hardware developer and the driver programmers it's not surprising(greed)

I've been looking for years for an alternative with movable keys and the only thing I've found so far is the dumang dk6
