3070 will also get a bit of a performance from the new drivers/settings available.
But I also recommend to wait for reviews. We don't know if MSRP is even realistic in the first few months. Founder Editions will likely be very limited and close to impossible to buy for most people. Especially outside of US.
Just kidding. Any of them would be a good boost, although a better value would be getting a used 4080 super or something like that. They say the stocks of the 50 series GPUs are going to be very low so you might not even be able to acquire one for months and definitely not at MSRP.
Wait for the benchmarks. If not desperate to upgrade, maybe also wait for the 5000 mid range cards.
I'd say 5080, as newer AAA games are already pushing 11GB of VRAM as is
(and the 5070 is 12GB, which feels like planned obsolescence)
I also don't think it's worth $1000, so 'hold off until they catch up with AMD in terms of VRAM'?
I see people going from a Ryzen 2700X or 3800X to a 7700X or 7800X3D while keeping their RTX 2080 or Radeon 6700 XT and the cpu + motherboard and ram made a big difference
If you want a high refresh rate experience, it may be worth it to go for a 5700X3D. If you are fine with a 60fps experience, it should still be good barring a few outlier CPU heavy titles.
You will also see more stutters comparing to a stronger CPU.
