RX 6700XT or RX 6650XT?
I got gifted a Ryzen 5 5600X and I can get a RX 6700XT or a RX 6650XT for the same price. The 6700XT has 12GB so i would assume it's better than the 6650XT. But I'm kinda worried about bottleneck issues. Any advice is really apreciated

The 6700 XT is of course better, than RX 6650 XT, especially for the same price. I myself have a Ryzen 5600 and a RX 6750 XT. In most games, except some CPU demanding games, my RX 6750 XT runs at 100% load. And even, if a CPU bottlenacks the GPU, the performance won't be worst with a better GPU. I don't see any reason to not buy a RX 6700 XT, if it costs the same price like RX 6650 XT. I don't know, how different prices between 6000s and 7000s RX in your country are, but if you have the opportunity, you could buy a 7700 XT or even 7800 XT and it will be not bottlenacked at 90% of time.

Thank you so much man, I'll go for the 6700XT for sure, also I have a 600w PSU, do you think it'll be enough? and my motherboard is a A320M PRO-VH PLUS, I know it's kinda old, but it'll support the 6700XT right? The motherboard has a 3.0 pci and the GPU is 4.0. For as long as i know it has to work and the difference in performance is quite low. Thanks for taking your time answering me.

use pcpartpicker to see how much wattage your pc uses
600W is fine for 6700XT with 5600X.

Yes, I have a 600W PSU, too. It will be sure enough. The CPU consumes around 60W at full last, the GPU 210-220W, the rest ~50W.

Your motherboard will be support RX 6700 XT without problems, there can be problems with the CPU only. The Ryzen 5000 doesn't support old AM 4 motherboard with old BIOS versions. Make sure, you have the BIOS version, that supports Ryzen 5000 and then it will be okay, too. But I think, if you have an old AM 4 motherboard, you should have an old Ryzen processor as well. As long as you have it, it is possible to update the BIOS version while running motherboard with the old CPU. Just google what BIOS version for your motherboard you should have to run Ryzen 5600x. On Youtube there are lots of guides, how to update BIOS. I personally never did it and got the right BIOS version for my B450M from factory, but I'm sure, it will be not hard to do.

The difference between Pcie 3.0 and Pcie 4.0 isn't big. All components of 3 and 4 Pcie version are compatible between themselves. In some games and tasks there are no difference between Pcie versions, in some there are a different of ~5%. So, it's ok. The only significantly difference you could have is the SSD speed. I for example have a Pcie 4.0 Samsung 980 Pro M2 SSD, that should run on 7500mb/s read and write speed, but the maximum of Pcie 3.0 on my B450M is 3500 Mb/s. Therefore my SSD runs 2 times slower. However, it is not very noticeable in loading games or in using the OS. 3500 Mb/s is enough to have a very good user experience.
6700xt all day.
Fix the PSU problem first, get yourself a minimal 850W from a good brand that is Modular.

Agreed, or at least a good quality 750W PSU, I'm one for having an overpowered PSU in case of future upgrades. I've an Enermax 1500W PSU powering my 2nd rig, with a 1kW Corsair PSU in my main rig. As stated by others, the RX 6700XT is an easy choice over the RX 6650XT, obviously more powerful GPU + 50% more VRAM (12GB vs 8GB) makes it better able to handle games that chew through the standard 8GB in most lower to mid tier cards.
Don't get the 6650xt because it only has 8 express lanes compared to the 6700xt 16 express lanes.

The 6650xt only has 8g vram. The ryzen 5600 doesn't bottle neck any of these. As a matter of fact, the ryzen 5600 could run any current GPU without issue. It fully supports the pcie 4.0 standard needed to run modern graphic cards.

Bottle neck only occurs mostly on YouTube tech channels that create a certain scenario on purpose, in order to create some test that showcases the actual maximum frame rate capabilities of whatever CPU that is being tested.

You're not actually supposed to run your own PC that way. I don't know anyone that runs their PC like a YouTube tech person.

Yeah the 6700XT will bottleneck the 5600X in most games, but if you play MMO's like myself, the 5600X will bottleneck the 6700XT. You could even have your ram bottleneck your performance.

No, it is just spending of money. This build will never consume more than 400W. A normal 600W PSU is more than enough for 5600x and rx 6700 xt. I have a 5600 and rx 6750 xt and I never had problems with 600W PSU even with overclock.

Ryzen 5600 doesn't bottlebeck the 6700 XT in most scenarios. If you play MMO games, it is a specific scenario. MMO games aren't GPU demanding and of course the GPU will be not at full load even with the best CPUs in such games. The same counts for strategy games, that I play. But it is not the problem of CPU, but a problem of such games. They just don't need such strong GPU and never will load fully the 6700 XT even with the 7800x3d, for example. In graphic demanding games like the Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Eldenring and etc. the 6700 XT will be at full load all the time.
