Error: ENOENT - No Such File or Directory
Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask. This error pops up every time I start my pc, I see that it's related to the SteamApps folder for a package.json file. It's probably from one for the 3 nexus mods I installed for bg3 (native camera mod, WASD and hidden UI). I've been ignoring it for the past three months to complete the game. Now that I have, I'm wondering how to fix it (short of uninstalling everything), appreciate if anyone has any advise for this, thank you!

This has nothing to do with Steam.
This is an NPM / Stack-overflow issue.
What OS are you running?
Does the OS have multiple User accounts?

I've no idea what an NPM/ Stack-overflow is but I'm on Windows 11 with no other user accounts

Can you screenshot the error(s)?
Do you have any error logs for this within Event Viewer > Windows > Application

if its an error specific to the game, ask in the games forum

you modded a game, so it may not work correctly if the game version does not match the version the mod was designed for

Yes, various apps can run into such an issue when either bugged or simply not compatible.

A google search of the OP's Topic Header easily reveals all of that.

So yes most likely is in direct relation to a Game and/or Mod issue.

Not quite sure how to share the image, but this is a link to it on my Steam Artwork if that helps make it clearer, thanks. Was just hoping to avoid having to remove them, but i suppose if I must in the end...

Ok I see.now.
Does the OS or other apps outside of Steam have random issues like that? Random errors and such?

I would suggest a Steam Repair.
Easiest way to do tbat would be to go to the Steam folder in Windows File Explorer. Also ensure Steam.exe is not running at all, which can be confirmed via Task Manager.

Then in the Steam folder, delete everything
except for the following:

> Steam.exe (application)
> DepotCache (folder)
> SteamApps (folder)
> UserData (folder)

Within the SteamApps folder, delete folders:
> Downloads (or Downloading)
> Temp

Also in this folder location:
%LocalAppData%
and delete the Steam folder

Right click Steam.exe > click Run As Admin

Now Steam will connect online and download the latest Client files it needs, all fresh once again.
