logi g305 has all the gaming features with generic look
all 6 buttons can be macros, and onboard profile saved to the mouse

Been using a Roccat Burst Pro I picked up on sale for $35 for a while and I am pretty impressed - worth checking out
You can find the original G502 Lightspeed[www.argos.co.uk] for around £80

thanks for the replies, not sure about the roccat as never used the brand before, the g502 looks interesting as i had a g602 a while back but not sure about spending £85.
G502 wired or wireless works nicely.

I also have a Utechsmart Venus MMO mouse, but it's.. excessive.

The optical switches and solid scroll wheel is what sold me, and I am not disappointed.

The only issue is the size, it's a bit large and good for palm/claw and I tend to switch between claw and fingertip grips.

Had several logitechs, g203 / g302 / g502 - all had to replace the double-clicking in the switches and got fed up. Optical or nothing at this point!
