For some bizarre reason, the fix is to go in the bios and trigger battery storage mode.

I’ve tried that method but it didn’t really work, like I can use the touch screen normally going through menus on the Steam Deck and the sort and play the few Steam games that are made so you can use the touch screen but other than that, other titles I can’t really use.

To me it's nothing more then kids console junk.
I'll wait for Steam Deck 2.
