Xboxelite wiresless 2 controller worth it

im searching for a wireless controller for my pc, as i hAve a bluetooth adapter (have no intergrated bluetooth) and my old xbox one controller (2016) doesnt have bluetooth,

so is it worth spending 200 euro for a controller i use mainly for the yakuza games? as i like my own personilized controller with ofcours bluetooth

imho, no its not
it does have the more rubbery grips and trigger limits and a few other things like that
but its still the same pcb as the regular $40-50 controller

sticks will drift after a year of two of use

if yours is the launch xbone controller, non bt with face plate plastics not around the xbox button

the xb s/x controller is much nicer build inside

I wouldn't recommend any microsoft controllers. terrible deadzones and stick drift that develops in a matter of days. I still have a dualshock controller from a decade ago and it has no issues. series controller that I used for 4 days playing rocket league? tokyo drift

if you don't like sony and don't want to use any external programs to get them running then opt for one of the hall-effect sticks / triggers controller from 8bitdo, gamesir etc. got some of those since I like to try out different controllers and they work great. since there is no issue with stick-drift you can easily reduce the deadzones to 0.01 which to me is a lot better than the default xbox controllers.

however despite owning a wall of different controllers and not owning a playstation for more than a decade now, I still prefer sony controllers.

I've had an Elite 2 for around two years now and had absolutely zero issues, certainly no stick drift. In fact, I've been using xbox controllers for years (since the 360 days) and never had any problems whatsoever, can't speak for other people though. Only came away from the 360 controllers as getting official ones became a pain and I kept getting knock-off versions. Tried a DS4 a couple of years back and couldn't get on with it, had to jump through hoops to make it work outside of Steam

The Elite 2 has been a solid controller for me, little on the pricey side when I bought it, not sure what they retail at these days but no complaints. Extra back paddles are really useful but make sure you download the drivers from the Microsoft store should you choose to delve in, extra paddles won't work correctly without it

Also to note, I've never tried the bluetooth capabilities of the pad, I've always used a fast 5m data cable with mine and it's always worked great. the day it dies I'll be replacing it with another one for sure

no it is not
its a problem with the pots in the stick wearing out
with daily use, it will take 1-2 years for it to drift

they wear out on the xbox and ps and switch controllers

the only real fix is the hall sensor stick modules for the switch controllers

xbox controllers are objectively worse. the third party controllers are much better and cheaper but whatever man. if I wasted 150-200 quid on an overpriced accessory I'd be defending my purchase too.

and yes setting any playstation controller up on windows is a hassle. I have to download ds4windows and then run it? inconceivable

Yep, well aware of what to use, been and done it. Forza Horizon 4 on the Microsoft Store required hoops to get the DS4 controller to work. OR, could just use a native controller and think nothing more of it....

all have hall effect sticks and triggers with bluetooth. I think all three have back buttons too. if you want the best gamepad with more features and better deadzones then don't buy any xbox first or third party gamepads. playstation is the only option for that

but obviously you already have played with xbox and didn't see any issues or look at the options I recommend and save money

i have a ps5 console/controller but the yakuza games will only react to xbox controllers as i played on xbox all my life i dont feel the deadzone and stick drift, from xbox original console to xbox one i have non with stickdriftt and every controller is from launch.

its really only for yakuza, i played xbox when i could walk, basically from an old tv screen with the original console ( i still have them) through xbox one, i alos have ps5 but yakuza games dont like sony,

i had zero issues on all my controllers only some buttons getting stucxk bvut those days i was a child, i lived and breathed exbox without any stick drift but thanks for your opinion

opinions don't matter when it's an objectively terrible controller. you can still opt to use it tho. your choice.

I played both fh4 and 5 on the xbox app, using a dualsense with ds4windows... didn't have to do anything lol

this isn't my experience since even diehard xbox fans use third party controllers... I played yakuza too and it worked fine on my dualshock and dualsense.

stick drift is a big problem on xbox controllers. I have tested 6 new series controllers until I gave up and asked for a refund. the store I bought it from, even tested them and confirmed my results in front of my eyes. one of the employees even admitted people return xbox controllers more often than ds.

you probably have drift and don't notice it or it doesn't matter inthe games you are playing.

no i dont have drifts or i would notice for sure as im keen for quality, i have tried multiple times for my dualsense controler, cable/bluetooth but it still doesnt workl for me.
