Adapting my CPU liquid cooler

Hello! I currently an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X installed with a fan. I also have this spare Corsair Hydro Series H60 liquid cooler that I wanted to use instead, but the brackets on it don't fit the mount over the CPU.

Does anyone know of a replacement bracket for the cooler from Amazon or something? Or if it's even worth it?

I can give more information or pictures if needed, sorry this seems pretty specific and it's a little over my head. Thank you!

Search for the cooler, then go to the actual manufacturers page, or similar.

They usually will have the option for AMD brackets (I am assuming you have an Intel one).

~OR~

Find a third-party supplier that handles that specific AIO model (there also might be a universal mount).

Corsair is a good brand but iCUE doesn't run properly on some systems.

I only go for other brands such as Lian Li or Arctic and I know they supply Intel and AMD mounts.

Seeing that Corsair is a big brand, they should have proper mounts for the CPU in both styles but same colors.

Also, please test for leaks prior to installation.

I had the cooler in my setup previously before I switched from an intel CPU to an AMD one and it worked great, much quieter too.

h60 is way too small for any cpu over 65w

do not use it on that cpu, it will always be thermal throttling

I believe it's the 2018 version, is even that one not enough? A local PC repair/building shop seemed to think it would be okay, but I'm not sure. If it's not I may just stick with the fan or save up for a newer cooler.

My previous CPU that I had the cooler on was an i5-9600k which google says is 95W, and it seemed to have absolutely no problem keeping up with it. Ryzen 7 7700X is listed as just a little higher at 105W. Physically, It looks like it would fit perfectly over my CPU. Thank you for the other recommendations too!

I mainly wanted to switch the fan with my old AIO so it would hopefully be quieter, I don't use my PC for anything too crazy and it seems to run just fine besides that. With that in mind, would a newer, more powerful, AIO give some further increase in performance?

I also probably should've mentioned at the very beginning what I currently have on my CPU, and that I have no idea how it compares with anything besides "just being a fan", haha :

H60 is for an i3/i5. Don't waste your time with it AM4/AM5 CPUs which need 120mm Rad or larger

other people have said it and so will I......the H60 is to small....its a 120mm cooler and even doing 2 fans with push pull would not be enough......to be blunt if your case can handle it you are better off getting thermalright frost commander or the thermal assassin......I have used the no longer made frost tower (really a assassin with better fans) on the 7700x and 2 7800x3d builds....any of these will keep all cores at max speed with PBO on and a little under voltage offset....plus they are only 35 dollars on Scamazon.....just make sure you buy from the thermalright store on scamazon to not be scammed......I also have a frost tower on my rig but i am running a 5700x.....I am in a no AC controlled garage in FL and it keeps my CPU at max boost clocks all cores without going over 72c in a garage that is 37c or 98F.......(C is what the computer reports so i know it better)
