you can map any button as button or macro or anything including dpi switch/cycle modes
Then I got the Corsair Harpoon Wireless Mouse and really like it. It costs sub $40 and you can program all the buttons. The DPI button is right on top and the change is instant.

Look where it says "Save with Used." For whatever they say it's used but it's brand new. That's how I got it.
I prefer it over the G502 kinds. I really miss my G500 and G500S.
I might repair those one day, just needs new switches for left and right buttons soldered on as they were totally worn out from approx 10 years worth of gaming.
I got tired of it myself, which is why i bought the one i did. It's not like i need to move it anywhere as i only use it with my desktop. I could see a wireless if you like an extra mouse for a laptop verse the trackpads.
my mouse i have works pretty good outside of the dpi switch, it's a cheap roswill i think i paid like 20 or 25 dollars. really the only issue is the DPI swtich. Perhaps i should take some of this info and head on over to bestbuy and see some in person.
Ill look innto that one too. I use corsair memory for getting close to 20 years and i really like that product, perhaps they make a good mouse too.
