What are you on about?
How would you spread a virus to me?
You're the one whose computer is at risk not mine, I don't even use Windows dude.
This is some weird nonsensical ad hom you are throwing around kid.
you can use it with defender or without the wife uses both i use webroot only.pc viruses
arent what they use to be.these people want access to your phone not your pc.i use webroot
because its been extremely reliable over the years.but is it necessary with defender maybe not but if it aint broke dont fix it.it has warned me 4 or 5 times over the years and locked out a few files for me to delete/refuse installation that it red flagged
just remember if you do ever run into something DONT click around trying to close it do a hard reset and you shouldnt have any issues.
How do you NOT use Defender?
While you can disable most of it, you can't disable all of it. All one can really do is lighten the load that Defender could put on the system for the most part.
You cant disable it fully ANYMORE to be exact, you used to be able to with Shutup10, but then Microsoft changed some things so i dont think it can be anymore. Mine is still disabled from back then, thankfully.
With that said
The most Minimalist AV program that turns it off would be iobit's Malware Fighter, it doesnt even need to be running from what i recall, but yeah.
You can disable everything it does, you can't disable the Security Panel for it or various notification it has. Everything else can be disabled via Group Policy. I've done it many times no problems.
ShutUp10 doesn't do it because it lacks options for that.
As i said lol
It USED to, back before Microsoft changed things a few years back, and im referring to Home Win10, not Pro.
Then use Group Policy Editor.
I still have Defender disabled even after this months Windows Updates; no problems. However it just runs the Security app in the background still, which is fine, it's not tying up crucial resources.
i would be happy, if you tell, what i didnt get yet. can one help me out?
thx in advance.
what do you say^^
cu
Installing something on top of it will not disable it. This is not Win 7, welcome to the NWO of Computing.
i quit the discussion.

Home doesn't have Group Policy Editor; that's one of the reasons to just use Win10/11 PRO
