You might want to try and scan your PC for any possible viruses/malware with a removal tool. I'd recommend something like Malwarebytes Malware-Removal Tool, which is free. The second thing I could think of is that it may be a PSU problem. Your system specs could be of use here. There's a plethora of reasons for stuff like this.

Try the malware removal first and see if that fixes the problem, and then if it still happens you may want to use a spare PSU if you happen to have one. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot I can attempt to help you with here since there's really not a while lot of information given. You could maybe try a re-installation of your motherboard drivers, or see if there's an update I suppose. If you have a backup that you can use, try that as well. It's hard to say. Give those a shot and report back.

Well, that's definitely going to be a problem with finding out whether it's the PSU. I suppose try loading up a previous backup or finding out what motherboard your laptop uses and try to see if you can find some motherboard drivers for it, or and update to your current drivers.

any tips how to get the drivers for ati cards
Zegers Dec 6, 2013 @ 6:46am
If you're talking about the old legacy ATI cards, you can still just use the AMD support section of the website for drivers found here[support.amd.com].

I can't say I've owned an AMD card in a while, so I'm no help there, apologies. Maybe do a Google search lol.
