Gtx 660 high temperature when playing games
Guys is this normal? when i play counter strike global offensive, the temperature goes to maximum 81c, this is a brand new gtx 660 i don't think it could be the problem, here is what i think and tell me if it is the problem or not, my pc has only has no fan to blow out from the case and my case is really small so the graphic cards fans blow almost straight to the bottom of the case, should i get a bigger case? or just add fans to blow air out of the case? or could it be the gpu i'm not sure.

VID cards can reach and operate normally at 90c. If it starts approaching that at heavy load then start worrying about how to cool it.

Generally, they need to be cleaned out and sometimes, have the heatsink reapplied.

Add a fan to blow air out of the case. Post the make and model of GTX 660 so we can check if the card in fact doesn't vent out the back of the case.

You could leave the case side panel off when using the PC. The inside of your case will get dusty faster with the side panel off. You need to clean the dust off the heatsinks & fans every six months or so (CPU & GPU). It would help if you could add fans to improve intake/outtake airflow. Some cards have better coolers than others. Your card may run hotter by design.

There could very well be a problem with your fan arc. When I first grabbed my 660 Ti I had a problem with the GPU fan not ramping up as much as I would like to keep the card cooler. You might want to download something like:

https://www.evga.com/precision/ OR http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

With those programs you can change your fan arc to help your GPU temperatures. If that doesn't help then you may want to grab a case with better ventilation, such as a Fractal Design R4, NZXT Phantom, or Corsair 300R. If there is a lot of dust in your system you will definitely want to give it a clean. Adding fans to whatever case you have now could very well help, but only if your case has substantial enough flow to support it.
