Advice on what to BUY
I need abit of advice on buying a new set up, using existing parts i have and adding new stuff, what ever is salvageable from my current setup.

Intel i3 2020 Sandybridge
4gb Ram
EVGA GTX 650ti Boost

the mother board i have is pretty useless no space for anything else to go in there so that will need replacing. Looking around the £350 mark to upgrade, decided to upgrade pc instead of spending cash on the ps4. Any help would be appreciated.

The processor is the 2120 not the 2020
The i3 will probably still hold it's own but you may wish to consider upgrading in the future - probably worth getting a new motherboard when you do as there's a newer CPU socket (your current CPU uses 1155 socket, the new ones use 1150 socket).

You should definitely get at least 8GB RAM (though I wouldn't go higher than 16GB and even that's overkill at the moment).

You could upgrade the GPU, but you may see more benefit from going to an i5 and upgrading the GPU later. If you decide to get a new GPU, something like an AMD R9-280X of a GTX-770 would be a good fit for your budget
I was thinking of, just buying a new processor and mother board, maybe abit more memory, and buying a second GTX 650 ti Boost. Would this be worth it or would it be a waste
what board do you have?

see if you can find a used 2500/k or 3570/k
if the board is a z or p series it can overclock so look for a k series cpu

The motherboard is a Dell own brand, is a much use as a chocolate fire guard
ah right well something like this might be a good use of your money...

350 will be tough, since upgrading a dell mobo will need a new case, new gpu will need a new psu also

you can reuse the gpu/psu/drives
should be able to transfer the os license, may need to contact microsoft

^ yeah I was about to say check PSU
Pretty sure i have a 600w PSU with 2 gpu power points on it
if it has a 110/220v switch, replace it when you upgrade the gpu
Well im not quite sure about the windows licence, i have the Window 7 key on my current dell computer, i would hasve though that would work on my new one
1 licence per machine - The crucial thing is the serial number which is registered to a particular machine when Windows is installed. @_|_ I'm not 100% sure of this, but if you're using the same hard disk, it shouldn't matter right? It should still be installed
Well im not sure now haha, i thought i would be abled to make a new system and use my old windows copy
Id say CPU if anything, a 650 Ti Boost may not be the best but its definately a decent GPU.

You should be able to goto the Dell website and see what CPUs that motherboard can support.

I literally thought it was going to be a case of going out picking up a processor, mother board, memory and a 650ti boost, and putting it all together. haha
