AMD R9 290X Questions!
Hello, I was wondering what the average temperature was for the AMD R9 290X 4GB running any game? I've heard that it is really high (as of 98C), but I am getting an astonishing 22C at HIGHEST with my GPU fan at only 20%, is this normal? Also, are there any good Overclocking Software out there for my new VCard? Thanks! :D

Resting temp for most computer parts is 48C. The average temp for a graphics card running a game like Warframe at max settings is around 70C, which is considered safe by gfx card companies. Getting over 90C is gonna shorten the life of your card.

You need to read up on this card. It can run hotter than your average card without damage, or so AMD says.

It sounds like the temp sensor is way off as that would actually be below room temperature. With stock settings I believe the fan is set to 40% max. Any faster and it will sound like a jet airplane as those reference coolers suck hard.
