Ultramon - view other monitor and a game? help

Trying to keep a game in one monitor, and view the desktop and firefox, etc and be able to browse the net in the other, without having to minimize the game. Is this possible? Someone suggested ultramon, but I can't figure it out.

Run the game in windowed mode with no borders.

Doesn't that use a lot more CPU/GPU/RAM?

No more than what you'll get by running a game in full screen on one monitor and expecting to keep focus on both screens.

some games dont have that option and will minimize when focus is lost
others can stay full screen with focus lost

I want the game to actually stay in focus, not just full screen though.
