X360CE and the MSVCP110.dll issues across multiple games
I picked up a Playstation 2 USB adapter so I could hook up multiple controllers to one usb port and play some games with my kids and wife (namely Lego Marvel Superheros and Lego Lord of the Rings). Not working. Installed the drivers for the adapter but Lego Marvel doesn't see any controller hooked up (it says no input for all of the key bindings in options.) Tried another game, let's see how Arkham Origins handles it. Ok, it sees the controller but the axises are messed up (this seems to be a common issue, but mine go deeper). Try a few more games, both Ducktales Remastered and Guacamelee don't recognize the controller at all.

All right, Mr. Google comes back with try x360ce to fix controller issues. Let's try that. Check to make sure I have all the necessary other programs, install that.....and I'm getting an error that states "The program can't start because MSVCP110.dll is missing...." Looking this up it seems to be an issue with the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Ok. Uninstall and reinstall both the x64 and x86 versions. No change, same error.

Both my computer and x360ce seems to know a controller is plugged in and will show inputs when I'm on the appropriate screens. X360ce though won't greenlight the controller and kicks out the .dll error followed by "failed to load xinput1_3.dll" when starting up. Kinda at my wits end, never had an issue like this that couldn't be solved with a few hours on google and working with it.

I would certainly appreciate any help anyone out there would be able to offer.

Yeah, I had this issue too. You are missing the specific 2010 MS VC packages.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

After that, it should run without error and create the 'xinput1_3.dll' file and the ini file. All files need to be in the game exe folder, run the x360ce.exe there.

Then you can select a pre-made profile from the online database (saves you the hassle) for that particular game.

Sadly, this did not fix the issue. I tried to install the linked versions and was informed that the versions of C++ I had installed were better (more up to date) than what I was trying to install. So, I tried uninstalling what I had and running with the linked items instead. No dice, same .dll error.

Thanks for the attempt though.

Any other ideas Steam community?

When it is a Visual C++ issue, then it's best to try a Repair of that, via Programs and Features. If a Repair doesn't solve it. Uninstall the version u having issues with. For example if it's "2010" version, uninstall all of the entries for that version, both x86 and x64. Then reboot and install the latest Redistribute 2010 version available, both x86 and x64.

Visual C++ and .NET Framework are large libraries, those can be Repaired usually when issues related to them occur.

I had this issue, and had a newer version of the C++ redistributable package linked above. Luckily, I was able to resolve the issue.

Looking on https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce, I saw it said that "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2013" was required. So I when to the link it provided:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

...and installed this. I did not get the newer version error as I did with the above link. Afterward, I no longer received the "MSVCP120.dll is missing" error when starting X360CE.
