Corsair H100i and its Link controller are crap.
I shouldve just stuck with a normal air cooler. Before i installed an OS i was monitoring everything in the UEFI and i noticed the pump was running at 500~ RPM and making a grinding noise. So i then got the pump to run at 100% 2200~ RPM and the grinding noise went away and my temps went down.

Now after installing an OS (Win7 Pro) the grinding noise is back and the pump is running at a constant 500RPM with no way of changing it through settings since the Link program is a uselss pos program... only thing i noticed that it will actually control is the stupid LED on the water block.

Ive tried uninstalling the program and using Asus Fan controller and the BIOS settings, but it still wont run like its supposed to.

Is it just the fail program Corsair is making me use or is my H100i just faulty product.

i read somewhere a software update (latest version) fixes the noise problem or you can do what i did (H90 cooler) i put the pump to fan header runs full power and then put the fan to motherboard cpu fan header so its controlled by the BIOS.
I will try that. I just think its sad that its not working the way its supposed to.

I even DLd two diferent link programs. There is Link2 and then Link... i dont know which one is the recommended one, and if you have both at the same time neither will work. That in itself is rediculous. Why not just have one... idk. If i had room for it id do a custom loop, but i dont have much compromise in a mITX lol

do you have static pressure fans on the radiator?
Im using the fans that came with it.
possible fix. any othe usb inputs seem to be a conflict. remove them and replace them to the MB. remove pump usb and rebot. then reconect atfer boot and they should show.
i went for the corsair H110 and i find that the stock fans are a bit noisy but hope to fix it with the carsair quiet edition fans when they arrive
I RMA'd it. The pump was dead. You need alot of incoming air for the rad to work properly as well because the case is so small.

The software is still useless though.

did you try with a different header or with a mini usb cable from the rear of the case?
