Which PSU for a R9 280x?

I am about to upgrade my PC (actually build a new one) and I don't really know which PSU should I buy... I will get an i5-4570 processor with an Asus Radeon R9 280X. I thought a Corsair PSU around 500-550 Watt maybe... But is it sufficient for this configuration? Which specific modell would you recommend for me? My bugdet is about 50€.

It would work with 500W power supply, but I wouldn't mind having a 600W unit personally, especially if you are thinking of overclocking with the setup.
I went for an OCZ ZS650, probably the best value in that price range and I would recommend it over the Corsair CX series. However, I think OCZ went bankrupt a while ago, so if you had warranty issues, that might be a problem...

You don't happen to be from Belgium/Netherlands? I know a good pricewatch to get significant cheaper parts for that region.

You should make very sure you buy at least 80+ bronze. It's worth the $ to save the electricity in the long run and also 80 Plus Bronze usually will insure that ok quality and will actually deliver enough power on the 12v rail.

Go with the Corsair CX600. It's $64.70 currently which is just under your budget (47 euros) and is 80+ bronze, plus you have headroom if you plan to upgrade

In Europe it might actually be worth it in terms of power costs to shell out for 80 Plus Gold instead. Do that math, rates are very expensive some places there.

It'd be over your budget but might be cheaper in the long term.
