Want a good cheap laptop to play Garry's mod

What do you recommend for a good but cheap laptop to play Garry's mod smoothly. First of all I know that a desktop is a lot better but I don't want to play games like battlefield 4 or anything I just want a laptop so I can play simple games like Garry's mod and indie games. My budget is around $500 but if I have to I could go to 600 and I live in us if that is needed

To be honest, even $600 isn't that much for a laptop to run games...
The only one in that price range that might be good enough is this one:

(because it has a dedicated graohics card (Nvidia GT 720M)), but I have no clue wether it will be good enough for Garry's mod

Ok first of all i reccomend builing a desktop for that money.
1 desktops are more powerfull than laptops
2 you can upgrade your desktop over time if u needed to
3 it will last u alot longer than buying a laptop.

Like I said I know desktops are better but I am looking for somthing mobile beacuse I am not only doing games on it and all of my higher required graphic games is on my xbox

That laptop is 3 years old. You don't want a 3 year old laptop and a 17.3 inch screen is unneccesary. Get something with 1366x768 resolution. You'll have a better chance of being able to play games without having to reduce the resolution.
