i need money for the game too.

and much better gaming performance
and spend the saved cash from the ram on a better gpu

wait til ddr4 systems before getting 16g

Drop it down to 8gb you will be fine. And then you can upgrade later when ram prices fall

#1 As many have already said, drop the memory to 8gb, it could save you money. Blender works pretty okay with 8gb. Gskill 8gbs are good and chaper.
#2 Do you really want a mechanical keyboard if you're on a tight buget, I suggest a decent Mouse+ keyboard combo, something like the Cooler Master Devastator Gaming Bundle [www.coolermaster-usa.com]
it's backlit and it looks really really good, around $30.00
#3 Blu-ray drive? Unless you're a movie buff with a lot of Blu-rays at home, I'd say just install a dvd drive, for now.
#4 Save the money for a decent Monitor and a GPU.
So, can I assume your budget is around $750.

8cores=overkill, what games available currently optimize 8 cores? you could argue that they will be soon but by then your processor will be on its last leg.
