How much could you get back for it?
You say leasing? Then how much actual money have you got saved that you could buy a computer with? Give me a budget and tell me what you need, like tower, Windows OS, monitor, keyboard, speakers and mouse or just tower or what combination?
Then I will show you how to put together a computer for yourself from the right parts that you need for your budget.
Gaming on laptops is always expensive. Leasing computers is generally a bad idea, it costs more which leaves you even poorer than before.
If you can't shell out the cash for something as a computer, go with a credit card u can trust that offers good financing. I prefer cash myself, or put that cash in bank and then buy online with my card, without credit card payments. But sometimes it's the kind of route u may have to take. Especially if u are trying to go to college and get started out there, without any help.
Gaming on laptops - expensive, I think gaming PC is more expensive because then there need monitor, keyboard, speakers, that's why I stick to laptop.
About leasing I totally agree, but I differently wouldn't were able to get laptop at all!
Since I don't work, I don't have that kind of cash to buy laptop. Even if I bought laptop, for example, with American Express, I would give that money back anyway!
I had an idea if I'll be able to replace parts with better, then I won't give back. Not all at once, but one by one. So I need to go to retailer and ask there if I can do that!
Here is a example of the tower only for $300~ after rebates.
AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4 Ghz 4 core CPU unlocked for overclocking + HD 6570 1GB GPU
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2mdec
Base Total: $351.33
Mail-in Rebates: -$55.00
Shipping: $4.57
Total: $300.90
You used to be able to get a A10 5800K APU build for that price but RAM prices and other prices have gone up so I have had to move down to a slower 4GB and use a real dedicated GPU with faster built in RAM instead of a APU's built in GPU. The Athlon x4 750K has the same CPU as the A10 APU but the built in GPU is disabled thus the need for the separate card.
I would not recommend this system if you can afford to spend more BUT it will probably be a lot better than a laptop for the same price if you can stand to use free Linux OS instead of Windows, even when you add on another $110 for the monitor.
Here is a $110~ monitor:
Acer G236HLBbd 60Hz 23.0" Monitor
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-umvg6aab01
It's much bigger than a laptop monitor and the resolution is better than most or all cheap laptops are able to go up to. This monitor is 1920*1080 resolution and 23 inches.
Other than that you can get a cheap keyboard and mouse for about $5 each, speakers $10-$20, USB drive 16 GB $10~, USB wifi adapter $5-$10 and for operating system (OS) you can use any Linux OS for free or buy 64bit WIndows 7 or 8 for about $100.
