Phantom 410 case fan issue

My nzxt phantom 410 was delivered today but the top fan had fell loose in shipping i guess, it slipped straight back on but im worried it might come loose when turned on, i does not look like it will fall off but im not sure

should i send it back or is it ok?

If you don't like how the case was delivered with the fan loose, then send it back. Attaching a fan to a case is pretty simple, so I wouldn't worry about it.

or call nzxt support, they may send a free replacement fan

Thanks for the reply's, the fan of fell off the mount as it's just the blade part which came off but It slotted straight back on so I guess it will still work?

I don't even see how those fans can come loose. Each one that is already provided with the case is secured by 4x screws for each fan. They do not "clip" into place like on some cases. As u can clearly see here > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTY4fD6cHss

If u r unsatisfied with the condition of the case, I would contact NZXT directly or contact your place of purchase and demand a replacement.

The fan mount was still in place but the actual fan had fallen of, I pushed it back on and it seems to stay on but I'm not sure if it's supposed to even detach from the fan mount

The square plastic box that holds the fan blades in place; that entire part IS the fan.
If the center w/ fan blades comes off, then that is a broken fan. Circular piece w/ fan blades should not be able to come off.

Each fan is screwed into place, no clips allowing them easy removable. So if the fan blades come out, u need to contact place of purchase and get them to replace it. As that would mean a broken fan.

Okay, yeah it's the part with fan blades that came off, should I contact amazon or nzxt?

Not sure if u can talk to a real person with Amazon, never had to do that.
I've returned items through them in past, but I doubt u want to do that over a broken fan.

I would first contact NZXT and explain that the fan was broken during shipping. And which exact fan it was (as there is a different sized, 140mm fan at the top) They might just send u a fan replacement if the chassis was not bent or damaged during shipping. But see what they say first.

Should I wait till I start it up as I'm not sure if it's broken but just fell off, it seems stable enough I tried giving It a. Tug but I Does not seems to come off

You are the buyer, that is up to you. It might still work, but again if that fan blade section came out of place or off, then I wouldn't trust using it. Just my 2 cents.
