Should I upgrade my RX 5600 XT

I did my very first custom build about 2.5 years ago with some parts that were given to me by a family member. Included with that was my GPU which is the AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. I've slowly been improving my build, but the only thing I haven't changed is my GPU. It still preforms without any issues at 1080p resolution with 144hz refresh rate, but I know it's starting to age out since it is now 5 years old.

I'm tempted to upgrade, but I feel like it is not really necessary since I have not noticed any performance drops yet. I have very limited experience with part specs so I was hoping that you guys could help me out.

If I should upgrade, does it make more sense to get a 6000 series or a 7000 series? I have not heard the best things about the 7000 series which is part of my indecision.

depends on how much money you want to spend and for what you would need a new gpu like a demanding game... is your cpu able to handle a better gpu?

in my opinion low budget starts with rx 6600 8gb or rtx 3060 8gb and if you want to go even cheaper get it second hand...

If it does what you want it to, then stick with it, atleast until supply of the new gpu's settles down and both new and used prices go back to 'normal'.

Only update when you want to. If you never play the newer games (not missing much, most run like garbage), then there's next to no reason to upgrade if what you have is working for you.

You must understand that you will never have top of the line performance with any GPU on the market. That's intended so you keep on consuming and consuming and you never find satiety.

People can try to play the game and ride the tide, but no matter who they are or how much money they have, eventually they will get off the ride when you realise the above; at least most logical people would.

You literally can buy top of the line perfirmance.

Yes things advance over time, that is a good thing else we wouldn't have any of modern society.
