Can my laptop run Squad

Hello,

Is my laptop able to run Squad?

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1992 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 logical
Installed Ram: 4GB DDR4 2400Mhz SDRAM, 2x SO-DIMM socket , up to 16 GB SDRAM (I think)
Driver: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM.
Storage : 1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD

I use ASUS X570UD. it can run rust on low ish setting very well. my internet is very good as I get up to 500 download speed (I think).

Not a chance you'll be running squad smoothly sadly, you need a new machine for it.

it will run it IF you upgrade your memory.....you need 8gb of memory.....recommended is a 6 core CPU and a 1060 with 16gb......minimum is a quad core and a GTX 960 with 8gb of memory.....

I have looked at task Manager (should have done it from the start) and it says I have 16 GB of ram and its only taking up 1 of 4 slots. Does that mean i'm able to run Squad or should I still get more Ram and fill up all the slots and if so, how should this be done? Will I need to go to a place to install the ram (I don't trust myself)

if its a single stick your only running one channel on the memory controller.....you really want 2 sticks.....you could always match the single stick you do have to find another......


you have enough memory BUT the single channel being used will really hurt how anything runs.....2 sticks is the best.....this lets you use both channels the memory controller has.....

try running it.....remember you have 2 hours of play time before you cant get a refund.....
