When I think Micro Fiber cloth, I think of the ones you clean cars with. Which are very good, when wet.

Not sure why you'd even be needing to use that when there is a need to use a dry cloth. What are you wiping or cleaning if the cloth is dry?

If need to dry a screens surface, can easily just use a paper towel and that works fine, something I've used on these devices for 30+ years and never had a problem.

Then after cleaning these devices you didn't washed the piece of cloth? Then dry it a little bit like after using washing machine there is still humidity. Or some cases monitor filthy like in dungeon/tunnel. Did you ever face these scenarios before? It's murky also cobber web there. Or even stinky? Or face houses like old castles/abandoned places? Asmongold was example. Real life I did face oldest house also 90's early 2000 computer something like IBM. I certain that old monitor 100% works no scratch.
Or different meaning with SAMSUNG MONITORS? Warranty expired I supposed?

Interesting. Have to test it but I doubt it. It's too acute for 70% water to cover the smell.

Ask the manufacturer. Screens vary in advice and by device as well. For example, it's not recommended you use alcohol on a Samsung OLED, not even on their watches.

The screen came with a manual and it should say how to clean the screen inside of it.

the front panel of the display is not electronics tho, its layers of plastics which the alcohol can dissolve or eat away at, same with the top layers of leds

water is fine when devices are unpowered, remove battery or drain electrolytic caps before submerging in ultrasonic cleaners, and be sure to dry completely before assembling and connecting battery or powering on

Swabs is just a no. It sounds good because you're thinking is that you'll be able to quickly clean a small specific area. The problem is it tends to leave a mark of some sort, even with just water. Because now you've cleaned an area while now the rest could easily have a very fine coating of dust.

Whenever you doing a small area, just do the entire screen.

idc my dad taught me it worked well for me over the yrs nothing bad happened been cleaning screens like since the 90s no damage ever so i do it the way my dad taught me

I use water personally, then cover them in engine oil for a shinier effect.
