If you are really hellbent on those cards then performance depends if card has DDR3 or DDR5 memory, DDR5 are better performance:

EDIT:
get a R7 250 you can find it for near the same price as the R7 240 nd the difference for gaming is big. Also can later crossfire with A10 APU.
So finding a somewhat decent gaming card(better then intel GMA 4000)
that will run low wattage AND be half-height is quiet the issue.

There's more, obviously, but I don't want to flood the forum with a bunch of benchmarks nobody cares about. Some other games I consider to get playable frame rates include The Witcher, Far Cry 2, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, The King of Fighters XIII, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, and Legend of Grimrock.
You could also look into a Geforce GT 720, which should perform a bit better and has a max power draw of 19 watts.
